Jack Ass of the Year Award

Florida's Finest Couples has always been an upfront group providing couples with fun sexy lifestyle experiences, discounts, parties and information about swinging. While we have found that most people in the lifestyle add a tremendous amount of positive energy. Every once in awhile we have run into people who take advantage, misrepresent themselves or commit outright fraud. We chose to call these people Jack Asses.

Recently the GeoSwingers website was brought to our attention. Although NOT in anyway connected to Florida's Finest Couples, this site was a local Tampa site with a few free members and it did make itself out to be a lifestyle website. Members were encouraged to load photos, talk about swinging and post information related to the lifestyle. The owner of the site even tried to arrange lifestyle parties. The site owner, Gary, referred to the site as, "a site for 'real' swingers built by 'real' swingers." As I understand it was Gary that owned and built this site so the reference was to himself.

Upon going to this site we found the following diatribe attributed to "GEOSwingers Admin" which appears from the comments and references, to have been written by the site owner. It is posted below so all may see it even after the site domain name is no longer functional.

Although it is quite long we do hope you will take the time to read it. You may feel that these are the rantings of a crazy man, someone with an axe to grind, or just sour grapes for a failed marriage. Whatever you feel we think you will agree that this site owner is the worthy winner of our first annual Jack Ass Award.

GEO Is Officially Closed Forever

Yes you read the title correctly GEOSwingers.com is now Officially Closed forever never to be opened again. The life of the site has now expired. While this writing will be long I encourage all of you to read it as it will be the last time I will ever communicate to this community and my hopes are that any of you reading this and have second thoughts about what you are really doing in this lifestyle you will then possibly see value in what I write here for all of you today.

I am a leader that is who I am by nature. Everything I touch I normally find a way to innovate and lead NOT FOLLOW. When I built this community of thousands of members I did just that. TRUE leaders often make changes in what they lead and today I will make such a change. For those that wanted me to follow them then obviously that became a problem:-)

I am closing GEO because I have come to the realization that I simply DO NOT believe in swinging or the people that I have met that participate in it. For the past couple years it has really been nothing more to me then a business anyway as I have not played with anyone for a very long time because I really had no desire. I believe that Swinging destroys the Priority relationship between one man and one women. Once those walls are brought down many other problems occur because the priority relationship is of less value and it makes it two easy to break one level or another level of trust and have seen many couples fall into this trap no matter how strong they think they are in their relationship I have seen many tumble down. I realized this some time ago and why the actual activities of playing in the lifestyle were no longer important to me. However, I enjoyed the social aspects that it offered and the challenges of building a business within it so I continued

I am therefore today disconnecting this community from my life forever and I am also disconnecting myself from everyone in the lifestyle not because I view all of you as bad but because through experience I view most of you as selfish and the beliefs that you believe in as selfish and I do not want to be sucked back in at some point in the future. Most people I have met in the lifestyle I have come to the conclusion are lost and searching for a place they can call home because they do not fit in any other place. My advice is to look within yourself and find the root of your own problems and then ask yourself how you can change those problems. If you are the type of person that proclaims not to have any problems then that in itself is a major problem as none of us are perfect and without problems. I bet if you look hard enough you begin to see why you were here in the first place and if you are a big enough person then you will also look at how you can make change in your life choices to become happy without the need to be selfish.

I have chosen associate myself only with friends that have NO MOTIVE to just get into my pants or someone I am withs pants. I cannot stand people that just tell you what you want to hear. Clearly just another example of this selfish community I no longer want to be a part of. I have been in one business or another for many years and most were all successful and have had good rewarding experiences with all of them. But this one because of all the selfish people within it I cannot say that about the lifestyle as its been way off the charts. Heck there has even been two people that I knew from the lifestyle that hung themselves in the past 6 months. Did they do it because the lifestyle. Probably not but it just shows you the kind of selfish people that are in this lifestyle.

There really are only (3) things we need in life to survive. Food, Water, and Shelter. A little love also goes a long ways too:-) But everything else is a want NOT A Need. When you get down to your basics of survival as a human being you can see this more clearly. But yet when our souls are lost we try and and make excuses that we need more and more and more. Sadly enough so many people in the world just need to have more and more never really being satisfied with having what they got. However, when you change the way you look at things the things you look at change.

I originally thought about just selling GEO off and pondered on this idea for quite some time because after all I have over 2 years worth of time and money invested in the project. Then I thought about what negative effect I have seen this lifestyle have on so many peoples lives. That would be like finding a big bag of drugs knowing it was worth a lot of money and then saying to yourself well should I throw it away or sell it off and make some fast cash despite the negative impact on others peoples lives.

Money is like air. Its something you want and something you need to survive in the modern world as it comes and goes all the time in our lives. Most of us want more and more if we can get it. Well I have made plenty of money in my life and much more then the average person. Here is what I know for certain. Once you know how to make it you can always make it back. It may take time and there may be some ups and downs but with time and effort it always comes back. Kind of like air even when you are gasping for air when you need it the most because you know how to breath eventually you get back on track and suddenly there is a surplus of it without even thinking of it.

Sometimes you have to just do the RIGHT THING. Sometimes you just have to go with your gut and what your soul is telling you to do. From an investment perspective will it be a loss? I really do not care. From a personal perspective will it be a loss? Nope..! because nothing here in this lifestyle based on what I have observed has been REAL anyway. Just a bunch of self centered people trying their best to get some extra booty and most will pretend to be your friends tell you what you want to hear for no other reason but to get what they want. Not all but most of them. I choose to not continue to worry about trying to figure out if there is one in a thousand that is worth a flip but instead to move on with my life without this. I have many REAL friends that I have been close to for years and many even since early school years that seek nothing more from me then friendship. No other motives just friendships.

Over the years I have sat by and watched many people come and go in the swinging lifestyle for many different reasons. I have watched many people break apart and move on with other people for all sorts of reasons. Some of the more selfish people right now reading this are probably saying to yourself ya but they had a whole list of problems and the relationship was already weak and that is why. Well here is an eye opener for you. All relationships have challenges its working through those challenges that make a long term relationship a long and rewarding one.

As an observant person I have listened to the many stories as to many couples came into this lifestyle and what they wanted to accomplish by being in it and have compiled what I believe are the reasons that most people are in the lifestyle.

1. They are selfish and want more then their priority relationship has to offer them.

2. They are sex addicts because of some other deep rooted problems they have within themselves they fail to confront.

3. its a way for them to cheat without the consequences.

Some of you that know me well know that their was a time when I was a man of God and even to the point where at one time I even seriously considered becoming a preacher. later through that process I became agnostic because I could not prove or disapprove their being a God. Even know I was agnostic I thought about the creation of GEO years before I created it but struggled with if it was the right thing to do or not. Many of you that knew me closely know this to be true because I talked about it to some of you.

Today as I write this message about the closing of GEO while still agnostic I ask myself if God does really exist at all in any shape way or form no matter what kind of religion you believe in and I had to sit beside him look him in the eye and ask if what I am doing is itok ? What would God himself say? Would he himself agree? No matter what belief system you believe in would the God you believe in say "sure do what you want anytime you want."

We often find many ways to justify what we want even when its something we do not need.

16 years ago my significant other and I were talking about what it would be like to add a third person to our fun in bed. At the time I was in my twenties and she had mentioned that her girlfriend had done something like this for her and the x husband before. As a young man I thought hell ya that would be hot. The seed was then planted and it grew and grew from that point. So we fantasized about the idea and talked about it frequently until one day we decided we were going to do it and she was began to set up the whole thing with her friend. After talking to her friend she came back to me and said it was on but under one condition if her friend went along with this her friend wanted to be able to store some Weed in my Freezer. I said what the HELL. I never done drugs of any kind before much less store any of them. Needless to say I said NO WAY and I moved on and away from those thoughts for quite a long time and yet the seed was still there.

6 years later we moved forward with experimenting with another couple. I had a hard time with it while she just went right through the motions as normal as could be. I thought this was what she wanted so then I should just make her happy. Over the next 10 years I would have to use Viagra to keep things going smoothly when we did a swap with another couple. Not because I had erectile problems but because I would blame it on performance anxiety. Fact is I have no problem with my wife. Looking back I now know the REAL reason was because deep down inside I knew this was not what I wanted to be doing and yet I done so to try and make the person I was with happy. I went through the motions and on the surface I was being the leader that I have always been but deep down inside I was being a follower because I thought I need to follow the desires of what I thought the other person in my life wanted.

I suspect that not many people would have the balls to write what I just did, especially publicly. Well I also suspect that there really is not that many leaders in the world and mostly followers anyway.

So right about now I suspect that you may be thinking 1 of 3 things.

1. You are evaluating yourself and what you are really doing in this lifestyle.

2. You are thinking I am crazy for throwing all this away after spending all this time and money building it.

3. You do not like the things I have said.

Here is the reality...! I am a Leader Not A Swinger. I don't think I was ever a REAL Swinger I think I wanted to somehow try and convince myself that I was a REAL Swinger because the person I was with lead me into something that really was not me. The further and further I got into it because I loved and cared for this person as much as I did I just went through the motions that I thought would make them happy. Meanwhile I could enjoy the social aspects the lifestyle had to offer.

I think I worked as hard as I did to build GEO because I was trying to convince myself that this lifestyle that I had allowed myself to be sucked into was somehow justifiable. The harder I worked the more and more I wanted to believe in something I simply deep down inside did not believe in. Because anyone that has known me for years knows that I have always been a caring loving and hard working person that has always given my heart to people. I did just that for this lifestyle community to only to have so many selfish people I met here try and destroy what I was trying to do for them. All I wanted to do was just see people happy and what I seen was really quite different. It was more like people trying to become happy.

Happiness is a choice. Its not something you buy, its not something you work on trying to get. Its REAL simple its a state of mind. You just decide one day you are happy or you are not. No more complicated then that.

For those of you that made it to the end of this long letter I say to you congratulations for taking the time to not be selfish today. For those of you that skipped through most of what I wrote and then read the end to try and short cut and get to the bottom line I say to you work on not being so selfish and just listen to people even when they seem long winded listen. To listen to someone is to have respect that you actually care about what they are saying. To not listen or make rude comments about not wanting to take your time to listen really means you don't care. When you do not care what others have to say you are being selfish.

Now why am I just plain and simply cutting GEO off cold? Because its the right thing to do and I am not going to waste my time on something that is simply not right. Why no warning or anything just plain cut off the site? Like I said above I do not have the mind of a drug dealer. I simply do not believe in this lifestyle and I am moving forward with my life without any connection to it. You may ask yourself why not sell it or give it to someone else that would run it? If you are still asking yourself this question then you clearly did not get the my message.

Anyway, goodbye to all of you and may you all one day find whatever it is that you are seeking to make you happy. But when you are looking make sure you remember that happiness is a state of mind. Nothing more nothing less. So quit trying to take off every pair of pants that you find.
